DiAnne Strauss

I am DiAnne Strauss and I teach the First grade at Grace Christian School. I’m nearing 30 years on staff. Over the years, I taught in our preschool and became the first teacher to teach First Grade and Second Grade. It’s been a challenge and a joy to be a small part of a living, growing work of our Lord.

My husband Bill and I have been married 45 years. We have a daughter who is 40 and a son who is 35. They and their spouses have given us 5 beautiful grandchildren. I’ve had the joy of teaching 3 of our grandchildren. 

Eons ago when I wanted to pursue a career in Commercial Art, I took classes at Lane Community College in Eugene, did store and window designs, and taught sewing for an Oregon company. I still love drawing, painting and designing. Art is rewarding and fun but working at Grace Christian School has been more fulfilling.
