Mrs. Watterud

My name is Mardel Watterud. I have filled the capacity of Principal/Administrator for 30 years. From a very young age, I had the dream of being a school teacher. When Pastor and I came to minister at Gladstone Assembly of God in September of 1977, I was very excited that the board asked me to take over its preschool program, which I taught for 10 years. While teaching preschoolers, the Lord gave me a vision and burden to start a Christian school. In 1981, the school changed from Kiddie Kampus Preschool to become Grace Christian School. 

As the school has expanded to include the high school grades, my role has also changed. Most of my time now is spent in the many administrative duties that come with a growing school. I also have recently moved into the area of marketing for the school as I handed over the role of elementary principal to Mrs. Denham who is also the Jr. High/High school principal

In the past 30 years it has a been a great joy to be able to minister to hundreds of students from preschool through 12th grade and to see their lives making the difference in their generation.
