We love our volunteers!
New this year: Eagles in Flight!
The Eagles in Flight program provides opportunities for every family to get involved in our GCS community. Throughout the school year, each family is required to participate in a total of 30 hours of volunteer service at Grace Christian School. These hours can be fulfilled in myriad ways, from chaperoning field trips to helping struggling students to cleaning the grounds. If your family is unable to complete these hours, you also have the choice of paying a $10/hour opt-out fee.
Here's how to get involved:
Our teachers are always looking for volunteers for their classrooms! Whether it be, chaperoning on field trips, participating in classroom mission projects, or helping out with classroom parties our teachers always love when parents volunteer.
If you are interested in getting involved with your child's classroom please get in touch with either Emily Hunt, our school principal, or with your child's teacher directly.
PTF: Parent teacher fellowship
The GCS Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a parent-led organization that seeks to support the school through service activities and fundraising.
Our PTF president is Jessica Banister. She is assisted by Maria Zarate and Amy Miller.
Our next PTF meeting will be held on October 5th at 3:30 pm. Join us for a great way to encourage our teachers and serve our students.
Grace Christian School has projects that we do every year. We always are looking for volunteers to help around the school. In the past we have asked for help with our "school work days". On our work days, which are typically help in the summer, we do anything from cleaning the grounds, painting lines in the parking lot, to filling the playground with new bark chips.
Please check back soon for more information on new and upcoming school projects you could participate in!
